As many film photographers know, the sun could burn pinholes in cloth shutters, leading to lightleaks and ruined photographs. While we do offer total shutter replacements, sometimes you can't part with your camera for several weeks, or want to ride it out a little longer before your next CLA.
 
To address this, we made a little patch kit for all cloth shutters. We use a special extra-thin adhesive on rubberized silk shutter cloth material in order to minimize weight and friction on the shutter curtains.
Think, high performance stickers made of light-tight shutter material. Significantly better than electrical tape or liquids.
 
We at RDR actually keep these in our wallets when we go shoot in case of emergencies. Thought we'd offer it to you all too! 
 
Each patch kit will come with 10 patches and an instruction booklet in the bag. Both smaller than a credit card so you can keep it on hand for emergencies.
